Complete pairs take from two days for standard lenses - may take up to two weeks depending on the lens type and coating required. (See Turn around times and Pupil Measurements below) Please allow a few days for posting the glasses back to you.

What is the turn-around time? 

For most stock Single Vision lenses, We carry a huge range of raw lenses and stock all frames listed on our website, when you place your order on-line, your lenses are started at our lab the next working day .

 

We aim with all standard lenses  glazed within two working days and sent back out to you.

Certain prescriptions and/or lens combinations may mean your lenses have to be specially ordered and will fall into the timescales set out below. Feel free to get in touch and check if this is the case, to confirm delivery times.

For special lenses like, Varifocals, Bifocals, Polarized, Mirror coated and specialised single vision. These lenses are then ordered and can take 10-14 working days to complete.

(If you are having a reglaze)when we receive your frames we will then order the lenses to ensure the best results.

Delivery Costs?

Return delivery is now free for both reglaze and complete pairs.

If you spend £150 or more you'll get Free 1st Class Recorded Delivery insured up to £150. 

Please consider the value of your frames when selecting the postal service you require. 

Pupil Measurements.

When ordering a new pair of lenses as a re-glaze, your old lenses contain all of the information we will need in relation to pupil position and pupil heights.

If you are ordering a complete new pair of glasses:

Option 1. At the point of your Eye Test it is best practice for your Optometrist to take a PD or pupil distance measurement and record this. You can ask you Optometry Practice for this.

(This is the most accurate way to to Obtain a measurement.)

Option 2.

Follow the link below, how to take a pupil measurement, this is a very simple procedure and does not need specialist training

 

Option 2.

Please send us an image of your face taken on your smart phone or webcam as if you were taking a passport photo this is then used to obtain pupil measurements using our AI software. we only recommend this option if your prescription is less than +/- 4.00 and less than a 2.00cyl

(This Option is suitable for straight forward distance, reading or VDU specs)

The 30 day guarantee period begins from date of order of goods. The guarantee covers goods that have a manufacturing fault only. If this is the case, please return your glasses to Eyedeal Eyewear Direct and we will replace the lenses free of charge. If you're not 100% happy with your lenses and want a refund*, please send the lenses back, we will refund on receipt of the goods, please be sure the lenses are still in good order, any damage in the lenses or coating may be reflected in the refund amount. We will where necessary reinstate any previous lenses to the frames previously owned by the buyer.
The cost of carriage and insurance is non-refundable. All refunds are subject to an administration charge.

*We will in all cases consider a full refund but approach each one case by case. Where special lenses have been manufactured and there are issues with the lenses outside of our control and not in any way our fault this will be taken into account, a service charge of 30% be retained. This a professional reglaze service and should not be viewed as a way to try a range of different lens types without obligation. 

Varifocal Non Tolerance

Our Varifocals are covered by a thirty day non tolerance policy.

This means that if you are a first time wearer or cannot get on with our UK lens brand then we will credit you for the amount spent on lenses.

This credit can only be spent with ourselves and can be used to buy any other product, this is the industry standard non tolerance guarantee.

Monitory refund cannot be given unless there is a significant manufacturing fault please read our terms and conditions

Frames

All of our frames are provided with a 12 month warranty against manufacturing faults only, this does not cover wear and tear, damage or loss.

You are responsible for returning these to us for exchange.

Some Designer Brands may carry a slightly longer warranty.

Terms of Use

Use of this site constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions, which take effect immediately on your first use of the site. Eyedeal Eyewear Direct reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online.

If you're not still happy with your lenses and want a refund*, please send the lenses back, we will refund on receipt of the goods, please ensure the lenses are still in good order, any damage to the lenses or coating may be reflected in the refund amount. We will where necessary reinstate any previous lenses to the frames previously owned by the Buyer.

Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings.
“The Buyer” means the person, firm or company who purchases the Goods from the Company.
“The Company” means Eyedeal Eyewear Direct.
“Contract” means the contract between Eyedeal Eyewear Direct and the Buyer which shall be deemed to incorporate these Terms;
“Goods” means any goods agreed in the Contract to be supplied by Eyedeal Eyewear Direct to the Buyer;
“Place of Delivery” means the place to which the Goods are to be delivered.
“Glaze or Reglaze” means to cut and shape a lens to fit the required frame.
In these Terms, reference to any statute or statutory provision shall be construed as a reference to such statute or statutory provision as amended, modified,        re-enacted or replaced from time-to-time. 

 

General

You may have other rights granted by law including your statutory rights as a consumer, and these Terms do not affect those rights.
No binding contract will exist between us until we have accepted your order. Except as described below, you may not cancel any order which has been accepted by us.
All goods are sold subject to availability.
These terms supersede all previous verbal or written statements and agreements relating to the goods and/or services. All information contained in our sales literature or correspondence is provided for guidance only and does not form part of this contract, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.
None of our representatives, agents or sales persons has authority to vary, amend or waive any of these Terms on our behalf and no amendment or addition to any of these Terms shall be deemed to have been accepted unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.

Description of Goods and Services

A description of the goods is set out in ‘lens options’ and on our website and any other documents referred to in our website. Whilst we will attempt to ensure that there are no changes to the goods to be supplied, it is possible that there may be some minor variations to the description and/or specification of the goods which arise by virtue of changes made by the manufacturers of the parts supplied which form part of the goods.
When ordering, you must provide us with details of the relevant prescription that is to be applied to the goods. All prescriptions provided to us must have been given to you by a Registered Medical Practitioner or Registered Ophthalmic Optician following an eye examination by them within the last 2 years. We will require a copy of this written prescription, to be sent with the frames to be glazed.
We will rely upon the prescription provided by you to order the goods, the frames provided by you will contain lenses matching the prescription that you submitted.
If you are unsure of the relevant prescription to be applied to the goods, please consult a Registered Medical Practitioner or Registered Ophthalmic Optician before placing an order.
We will can use a ‘PD’ measurement that has been measured by your Optical Practitioner, this must be supplied when ordering or on receipt of the frames to be glazed. We can also take this measurement from an existing glazed frame owned by the buyer. We can also take measurements from a digital photo sent to us via email . The buyer must accept any inaccuracies in the measurement of this. We will only make adjustments to the PD when applying it to near or intermediate reading glasses.
We reserve the right to decline a reglaze if it is deemed that the frame, upon inspection, is in a condition that precludes this. If any breakage of frames occurs during glazing, we will contact the buyer, we cannot be held responsible for this. We will send any prescription lenses removed from existing frames back to the buyer, we cannot guarantee the condition of these once removed.
Refurbishment of frames can be carried out to replace screws, nose pads and end tips, we cannot guarantee perfect matching unless replaced in pairs. Cleaning is carried out ultrasonically, we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred as a result. We cannot repair broken frames and we will not straighten or bend them.



You must be over the age of 16 to order from Eyedeal Eyewear Direct, or ordering on behalf of someone under 16 years of age.

 

Delivery

Unless otherwise agreed in writing - delivery of the goods will take place at the delivery address provided on the order form or the delivery address provided on the online order form. Any dates specified by Eyedeal Eyewear Direct for delivery of the Goods are intended to be an estimate only. Every attempt will be made to deliver the goods within a reasonable time; however delivery may take up to 28 days depending on circumstances. Eyedeal Eyewear Direct cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery caused by the manufacturer or any other third party. If delivery is not within the agreed time Eyedeal Eyewear Direct will arrange another time for delivery.

 

If for any reason (not due to our fault) you do not accept delivery of any of the goods in accordance with this paragraph then we may charge you an additional fee to cover any reasonable additional direct costs incurred by us as a result (including additional insurance, delivery, storage or similar charges).
Subject to the other provisions of these Terms, Eyedeal Eyewear Direct shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any goods incurred during the specified delivery service, whether direct or consequential, economic or loss of profits or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly out of any delay in the delivery of the Goods nor will any delay entitle the Buyer to terminate or rescind the Contract unless the delay exceeds 120 days.
Standard  delivery is free, Recorded and special Delivery are optional.

 

Inspection of Goods

Risk in the Goods shall pass to the Buyer on delivery. Upon delivery of the goods you should carefully inspect them. If any of the goods are damaged or lost, please contact us to inform us of the problem and do not use the goods. Each of the goods will contain written confirmation of the prescription of the goods. If the prescription stated does not match the prescription ordered, please contact us to inform us of the problem and do not use the goods.
If Eyedeal Eyewear Direct recommends that you purchase optional products during your order process and you do not accept these recommendations, Eyedeal Eyewear Direct will not take responsibility for goods not thought of as being aesthetically pleasing or breakages due to non recommended lenses.

 

 

Payment

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you must pay to us the price for the goods when placing your order. Payments to us must be made in pounds sterling.

 

Contract Cancellation Rights

If this contract has been made between us by telephone or correspondence (including e-mail) without any face to face contact having occurred between us, then you will have a 7 day period from the date when the order is placed in which to cancel this contract. This right does not apply at any time after we have started to customize any materials (including manufacturing any goods) in accordance with your requirements or after we have started to perform any of the services (including installation).

 

Responsibility for ownership of Goods

You will be liable for any loss or damage to the goods from the time of delivery unless such loss or damage is caused by our negligence.

 

Resale of Goods

Goods are sold on the condition that they are not resold to the public.

Contract Personal to you

This contract is personal to you. Nobody other than you will be able to benefit from this contract. You may not transfer your rights or the benefit of any of the provisions of this contract to any other person without our prior written permission.

 

 

Your personal data

We will ensure that our employees, agents and sub-contractors shall, at all times, comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 in relation to data received from you in relation to this contract and shall only process personal data received from you where necessary to fulfill our obligations under this contract.
